O R D E R:
In the reference 1st read above, orders were issued appointing Dr. Prasanta Mahapatra,
IAS, Commissioner of Inquiries, General Administration Department as Inquiry Officer under
Rule 20 (2) of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991 to
conduct departmental enquiry against Sri G.Sudersanam, formerly Deputy Executive
Engineer(Tribal Welfare) Rampachodavaram, East Godavari District, and Sri N.Arun Kumar,
Assistant Executive Engineer (under suspension), East Godavari District, for violation of Andhra
Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964. The Superintending Engineer, Panchayat Raj,
Kakinada, East Godavari District, has been appointed as Presenting Officer. The case has been
reassigned to Sri A.B. Venkatesawara Rao, IPS, Commissioner of Inquiries, General
Administration Department vide reference 2nd read above. The case has been further
reassigned to Dr. Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, Commissioner of Inquiries, General
Administration Department vide reference 3rd read above.
2. The General Administration (COI-R) Department has informed that Dr. Subhrendu
Bhattacharya, IAS, Commissioner of Inquiries, General Administration Department was retired
from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.12.2011 and consequently, decided
that the cases hitherto dealt with Dr Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, former Member of
Commissioner of Inquiries, General Administration Department was re-assigned to Jitender,
IPS(J), Commissioner of Inquiries, General Administration Department as Inquiring Authority, in
place of Dr. Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, former Member of Commissioner of Inquiries,
General Administration Department, in the reference 4th read above.
3. Accordingly, Government hereby appoint Sri Jitender, Commissioner of Inquiries,
General Administration Department, as Inquiry Officer, under Rule.20 (2) of Andhra Pradesh
Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991, in place of Dr.Subhrendu
Bhattachayarya, former Member of Commissioner of Enquiries, General Administration
Department. He is also requested to take up the inquiry from where it was left over and also
obtain the records etc. from the General Administration (COI-SB) Department.
