G.O.Rt.No.1859, P R & R D (Vig.II) Dept., dated.11-12-2008 3. From the G.A. (COI.R) Deptt., U.O.Note.No.23/C.O.I-R/2012, Dt:04.02.2012. <<>> O R D E R: In the reference 1st read above, orders were issued, appointing Dr. Prashanta Mahapatra, IAS, Commissionerate of Inquiries, General Administration Department, as Inquiry Officer, under Rule 20(2) of Andhra Pradesh Civil Service (C.C. & A) Rules, 1991, to conduct departmental enquiry against Sri B. Govinda Rao, former A.E., Panchayat Raj Department, Mandasa Mandal, Srikakulam District, and Sri M. Vara Prasad Rao, Advocate, as Presenting Officer under Rule 20 (5) ( c) of APCS (CCA) Rules 1991. Subsequently the case was reassigned to Dr.Subhrendu Bhattacharya, Commissionerate of Inquiries vide reference 2nd read above. 2. The General Administration (COI.R) Department have requested to issue orders appointing Sri Jitender, IPS (J), Commissioner of Inquiries General Administration (COI) Department Commissioner of Inquiries General Administration (COI) Department as Inquiring Authority in place of Dr. Subrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, as he was retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.12.2011. 3. Accordingly, Government hereby appoint Sri Jitender, IPS, Commissioner of Inquiries (J), General Administration (COI) Department, as Inquiry Officer, under Rule.20 (2) of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991, (in place of Dr. Subhredu Bhattacharya IAS, Commissioner, Commissioner of Enquiries, General Administration Department). He is requested to take up the inquiry from where it was left over and also obtain the records etc. from the General Administration (Commissioner of Inquiries-SB) Department. Sri M. Vara Prasada Rao, Advocate who was appointed as Presenting Officer in the G.O. 2nd read above, shall continue to be the Presenting Officer to present the case before the Enquiry Officer on behalf of the Government.
