From the Engineer-in- Chief, RWS&S, Hyderabad, letter No.B1(1)/1042/2004, Dated 13.7.2011. 2. G.O.Rt.No.1160, Finance (Expr. PR&RD) Department, Dated:26-03-2012. >><< ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, the Engineer-in-Chief, Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Department, Hyderabad has submitted proposals for release of an amount of Rs.1700.00 lakhs towards payment of EMDs and FSDs which are due to contractors. The amount of Rs.8.07 lakhs pertaining to M/s. R. Gangaiah & Co., Tirupathi towards EMDs and FSDs and also requested to release the said amount. He has also submitted that the EE, RWS&S, Madanapalli has informed that as against the total due Rs.8,07,390/- an amount of Rs.69,370/- is available with him at PAO and the balance refund of deposits amount of Rs.7,38,020/- is not available with him as the amount was spent for payment of salaries to work charged establishment requested to release an amount of Rs.7,38,020/- for making payment to M/s. R.Gangaiah & Co., and also requested to release LOC for 7,38,020/- on the account of refund of Deposit for making payment to M/s R.Gangaiah & Co. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Finance (Expr. PR&RD) Department have issued a B.R.O. to the Engineer-in-Chief, RWS&S, Hyderabad for an amount of Rs.7.46 lakhs (Rupees Seven Lakhs and Forty Six Thousand only) from the B.E. provision 2011-12 towards refund of EMD/FSD payable to the agencies in connection with the PWS Works executed in Chittoor District 3.
