Report in TEC No.21/2007 on the file of the II Member, Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings, Hyderabad, dt. 30.09.2011. *** O R D E R: It was brought to the notice of the Government that Sri V. Nageshwara Babu, Assistant Executive Engineer, Panchayat Raj, Tenali, Guntur District was trapped by the ACB authorities on 23.08.2006 when he demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000/- from the complainant Sri Chadalavada Ramesh Babu, Amarthaluru Village and Mandal, Guntur District, for doing official favour. 2. After examining the final report furnished by the D.G., ACB, Hyderabad in the reference 1st read above, Sri V. Nageshwara Babu, Assistant Executive Engineer, Panchayat Raj, Tenali, Guntur District was placed on his defence before the Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings, Hyderabad, to inquire into the allegation of demand and acceptance of bribe, vide reference 2nd read above. 3. In the reference 3rd read above, the Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings, Hyderabad in its Report in TEC No.21/2007 on the file of the II Member, dt. 30.09.2011 held that the charged officer Sri V. Nageshwara Babu, Assistant Executive Engineer, Panchayat Raj, Tenali, Guntur District, is entitled to benefit of doubt and thereupon the charged officer is found not guilty of the charge framed against him. 4. After careful examination of the matter and as the Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings held that the charged officer is entitled to benefit of doubt and thereupon the charged officer is found not guilty of the charge framed against him, Government have decided to drop further action against Sri V. Nageshwara Babu, Assistant Executive Engineer, Panchayat Raj, Tenali, Guntur District, and accordingly hereby drop further action against him. 5.
