HOME (SERVICE-I) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 566 Dated: 03-04-2012 Read the following:- 1. From Sri U.V.Ramesh Babu, C.I. of Police, DCRB, Ongole, revision petition dated ‘nil’. 2. From the Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, Letter Rc.No.4383/Appeal-3/2011, dated 16.2.2012. o-o-o ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, Sri U.V.Ramesh Babu, C.I. of Police, DCRB, Ongole, has submitted a revision petition to the Government, requesting to set aside the punishment of ‘PPI for one year without effect on future increments and pension’ awarded by the Superintendent of Police, Prakasam District, for the reasons mentioned therein. 2. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, in his letter 2nd read above, has informed that Sri U.V.Ramesh Babu, C.I. of Police, DCRB, Ongole, was awarded the punishment of ‘PPI for one year without effect on future increments and pension’ by the Superintendent of Police, Prakasam District, Ongole, vide Proceedings C.No.15/A4- PR/2011 (D.O.No.168/A4-PR/2011), dated 10.3.2011, for the following delinquency:- “Despite clear instructions of the undersigned, he sent replies to higher ups without the approval/knowledge of the undersigned. The C.I., DCRB, Ongole exhibited gross neglect of duty and serious misconduct in transacting such important issue without knowledge/approval of undersigned.” His appeal petition was considered and rejected by the appellate authority i.e. Addl.DGP (Pers), in Proceedings D.Dis.No.2019/Appeal-3/2011, dated 22.7.2011. Now, the Individual has submitted a revision petition to the Government. 3. After careful examination of the entire matter, with reference to the records made available, by taking the revision petition into consideration, Government hereby set aside the above said punishment of ‘PPI for one year without effect on future increments and pension’ imposed on Sri U.V.Ramesh Babu, C.I. of Police, DCRB, Ongole. 4. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, is requested to take necessary follow up action in the matter. The records received in the reference 2nd read above are herewith returned and the receipt of the same should be acknowledged.
