G.O.Rt.No.219, Home (Ser.I) Department, dated 16.2.2012. 3. From the General Administration (COI.R) Department, U.O.Note No.89/COI-R/2012, dated 24.3.2012. o-o-o ORDER: In the G.O. 2nd read above, Sri Jitender, IPS, COI was appointed as Inquiring Authority in place of Dr. Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, COI, to inquire into the charges framed against Sri S.Brahmanandam, formerly Inspector of Police, Ramagundam Circle of Karimnagar District (now retired), and Ms. K.Sridevi, Advocate continued as Presenting Officer in this case. 2. The General Administration (COI-R) Department, in the reference 3rd read above, has informed that consequent on appointment of three Inquiry Officers, it has been decided to reassign the case of Sri S.Brahmanandam, formerly Inspector of Police, Ramagundam Circle of Karimnagar District (now retired), from Sri Jitender, IPS, COI to Sri Alok Srivastava, IPS (Retd) (COI-AS), and requested the Department to issue orders re-assigning the said case to Sri Alok Srivastava, IPS (Retd) (COI-AS). 3. Accordingly, Government hereby appoint Sri Alok Srivastava, IPS (Retd), (COI- AS) in place of Sri Jitender, IPS, COI, as Inquiring Authority, in terms of sub-rule-2 read with sub-rule (5)(b) of Rule-20 of APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991, and Ms. K.Sridevi, Advocate, shall continue to be the Presenting Officer in this case. 4. Sri Alok Srivastava, IPS (Retd), (COI-AS) is requested to conduct the oral enquiry as per rule-20 of A.P.C.S. (CC&A) Rules, 1991 and complete the enquiry within two months and submit his report to Government. 5. The General Administration (COI.J) Department is requested to take further necessary action to transfer the connected records and material pertaining to the above said enquiry to Sri Alok Srivastava, IPS (Retd), G.A. (COI.AS) Dept., and the Inquiry Authority in the case, immediately.
