READ:-- From the Chief Engineer, G.L.I.S., Warangal, Lr.No.CE/GLIS/Wgl/ DCE/OT1/TS5/Camp 1, dt:21.09.2011. >><< ORDER: In the reference read above, the Chief Engineer, G.L.I.S., Warangal has reported that the Members from NGRI Hyderabad, IIT Chennai and IIIT Hyderabad had visited the site of Tunnel excavation near Ramappa Temple on 27.08.2011 under the leadership of Sri D. Srinagesh, Head of Seismology Observatory, NGRI., Hyderabad for reconnaissance study and to conduct detailed experiments to measure the ground motion vibrations due to blasting which are carried out for Tunnel excavation. An estimate to a tune of Rs.15,27,372/- has been submitted by the Chief Scientist, Head of Seismology Observatory, NGRI., Hyderabad towards expenditure for their Study on the Effect of Ground Motions on Ramappa Temple. Therefore, the Chief Engineer has requested the Government to accord permission for sanction of the sub estimate for an amount of Rs.15,27,372/- from the provision of Rs.181.06 lakhs towards contingencies within the revised administrative approval of Phase-III of J. Chokka Rao Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme sanctioned vide G.O.Ms.No.23, I&CAD(PW:Maj.Irr.IV-1) Department, dated:06.02.2009. 2. Government after careful examination, hereby accord permission to Chief Engineer, G.L.I.S., Warangal to incur the expenditure against the sub estimate for an amount of Rs.15,27,372/- (Rupees fifteen lakhs twenty seven thousand three hundred and seventy two only) towards study on the effect of Ground Motions on Ramappa Temple situated in Palampet(V), Venkatapur (M), Warangal District from the provision of Rs.181.06 lakhs towards contingencies within the revised administrative approval of Phase-III of J.Chokka Rao Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme sanctioned vide G.O.Ms.No.23, I&CAD(PW:Maj.Irr.IV-1) Department, dated:06.02.2009, subject to the following conditions:-- (i) Cost of consumables i.e. chemicals will be restricted to actuals. P.T.O.,:: 2 :: (ii) Cost of services i.e. hiring of vehicles/boats, maps, drawings, photography, typing etc., will be as per the actuals. (iii) Payment towards fellowship accounts intellectual fees will be reimbursed subject to production of bills/rules on the subject issued by University / UGC / Government of India. (iv) Contingencies will be restricted to actuals. (v) TA/DA and payment of man days to Scientists / Professors will be as per the rules of the UGC / University for their entitlement. 3.
