NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 7th July, 2015
S.O. 1833(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government had, vide
notification number S.O. 788(E) dated the 26th April, 2011, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II,
Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 26th April, 2011, notified the 3rd Seniormost Court of Additional District and
Sessions Judge, Lucknow as the Special Court for the purposes of sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the said Act having
Jurisdiction throughout the State of Uttar Pradesh for the trial of scheduled offences;
And whereas, Sri Ramashray Singh, Additional District & Sessions Judge who was appointed as the Judge to
preside over the said Special Court vide notification number S.O. 2779(E), dated 23rd November, 2012 published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, sub-section (ii), dated the 24th November, 2012, has been transferred;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 11 of the said Act and in
supersession of the notification number S.O. 2779(E), dated the 23rd November, 2012, except as regards to things done
or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, on the recommendation of the Hon’ble Chief
Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, hereby appoints Sri Neel Kuntha Sahay, Additional District and
Sessions Judge, Lucknow as the Judge to preside over the said Special Court.
