Central Government hereby makes the following order further to amend the Foreigners Order, 1948, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Foreigners (Amendment) Order, 2014.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
2. In the Foreigners Order, 1948, after para 6A, the following para shall be inserted, namely: -
“6B. Liability of master of vessel or country representative or station manager of airline to provide information relating to
departure –The master of a vessel or country representative or station manager of an airline, as the case may be, shall
provide in electronic form the following information to the Immigration authority on the ports of embarkation in India,
fifteen minutes before leaving or taking off from the port of embarkation in India about the passengers and crew on board
while departing, namely: -
I. Flight Information :
(a) Airline carrier code and flight number;
(b) Destination airport;
(c) Scheduled departure date and time;
(d) Departure airport in India;
(e) Scheduled arrival date and time at destination port;
II. Passenger Information:
(a) Last name;
(b) First name;
(c) Middle name;
(d) Gender;
(e) Date of birth;
(f) Nationality;
III. Journey Information:
(a) Journey start airport;
(b) Destination airport;
(c) Passenger name record location;
IV Travel Document Information:
(a) Document type;
(b) Document number;
(c) Expiry date;
(d) Country of issue;
V. Visa Related Information (Indian visa for foreigners and visa Issued by destination country
for Indians):
(a) Visa type;
(b) Visa number;
(c) Visa expiry date; and

For crew, in addition to the above information, the information about ‘cockpit or operating crew
indication’ shall also be furnished.
Also, the prescribed format is attached for above purpose.
