(1) These rules may be called the Central Reserve Police Group “A” (General Duty) Officers Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. In the Central Reserve Police Force Group “A” (General Duty) Officers Recruitment Rules, 2010, in the Schedule, against serial number 9 relating to the post of Assistant Commandant (General Duty), in column (12), under the sub-heading “By Limited Departmental Competitive Examination”, for item (a), the following item shall be substituted, namely : ─ “ (a) Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors of General Duty, Crypto, Radio Operator and Radio Technical of Central Reserve Police Force who have completed four years of service including period of training and being in Medical category SHAPE-I shall be eligible to appear in the limited departmental competitive examination”.
