The Central Govt, on the recommendation of the Honble Chief Justice of High Court of Delhi, hereby appoints Shri Bharat Parashar as the Additional Judge to the National Investigation Agency Special Court for the purposes of the said Act.
This notification, S.O. 1564(E), issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Internal Security-I Division, and dated June 19, 2014, appoints Shri Bharat Parashar as the Additional Judge to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Special Court. This appointment, made under subsections 6 and 9 of section 11 of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008, follows consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi. New Delhi, the 19th June, 2014
S. O. 1564 (E). – Whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of
section 11 of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), had, vide
notification number S. O. 45 (E), dated the 9th January, 2012, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II,
Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 9th January, 2012, appointed the Additional Sessions Judge-01, New Delhi Patiala
House Court, as Additional Judge to the National Investigation Agency Special Court i.e. the District Judge-IV-cum-
Additional Sessions Judge in-charge, New Delhi, Patiala House Courts for conducting the business under sub-section (9)
of Section 11 of the said Act;
And Whereas, Shri Dharmesh Kumar Sharma, Additional Sessions Judge-01, New Delhi, Patiala House Court,
who was appointed as the Additional Judge to the National Investigation Agency Special Court for conducting the
business under sub-section (9) of section 11 of the said Act vide notification number S. O. 580 (E) dated the 26th
February, 2014 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 27th
February, 2014, has been transferred;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) and (9) of section 11 of the said Act and in
supersession of the notification number No. S. O. 580 (E), dated the 26th February, 2014, published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 27th February, 2014, except as respects of things done
or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, on the recommendation of the Hon’ble Chief
Justice of High Court of Delhi, hereby appoints Shri Bharat Parashar as the Additional Judge to the National Investigation
Agency Special Court for the purposes of the said Act.
