NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th July, 2018
S.O. 3682(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the National
Investigation Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government had, vide notification
number S.O. 2556 (E) dated the 27th July, 2016, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-
section (ii), notified the Court of II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Krishna at Vijayawada-cum-Metropolitan
Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, as the Special Court for the purposes of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the said Act having
jurisdiction throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh for the trial of Scheduled Offences;
And whereas, Shri A.V. Ravindra Babu, Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, who was appointed as the
Judge to preside over the said Special Court vide notification number S.O. 3861(E) dated the 11th December, 2017,
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), has been transferred;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 11 of the National Investigation
Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) and in supersession of the notification number S.O. 3861(E) dated the 11th December, 2017, except
in respect of things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, on the recommendation
of the Hon’ble Chief Justice, High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, hereby appoints Sri G.V. Subramanyam, Metropolitan
Sessions Judge-cum-II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vijayawada, as the Judge to preside over the said Special
Court.
