NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th October, 2015
S.O. 2874(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the
National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central
Government had, vide notification number S.O. 269(E) dated the 22nd January, 2013, published in the Gazette
of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 24th January, 2013, notified the Court of
I Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court, Hyderabad presided over the Shri G. Lakmipathi, Judge as
the Special Court for the purposes of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the said Act having Jurisdiction
throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh for the trial of schedule offences;
And whereas, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad has
recommended the IV Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court, Hyderabad presided over by
Sri K. Ravinder Reddy, as Special Court for trial of schedule offences investigated by the National
Investigation Agency in place of the Court of I Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad presided
over by Shri G. Laxmipathi, who has been transferred;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 11 of the
said Act and in supersession of the notification number S.O. 269(E), dated the 22nd January, 2013, except as
regard to things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, on the
recommendation of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, hereby notifies
the Court of IV Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court, Hyderabad presided over by Sri K. Ravinder
Reddy as the Special Court for the purpose of the said sub-sections (1) and (3) of the section 11 of the said
Act for the trial of schedule offences having jurisdiction throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh.
