NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th November, 2016
S.O. 3394(E).—Whereas I.R.F Education Trust, registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950
vide its Regn. No. E-14436(BOM) has obtained a certificate of registration under sub-section (I) of section 11
of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (42 of 2010) holding Regn. No.083780684 authorising it
to accept foreign contribution for undertaking educational and social programmes in India which are not
detrimental to the national interest;
And whereas on the basis of records available and reports received from intelligence agencies, the
Central Government is satisfied that I.R.F. Education Trust has violated certain provisions of the said Act;
Now, therefore, the Central Government in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section
11 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, hereby specifies that the IRF Education Trust shall
obtain prior permission of the Central Government on each occasion before accepting any foreign contribution
in accordance with the provisions of section 12 of the said Act and the rules made thereunder.
