NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th February, 2022
S.O. 903(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14 and section 15 of the Waqf Act,
1995 (43 of 1995), the Central Government hereby appoint the following persons as Members of the Waqf
Board in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir for a period of five years from the date of publication
of this notification in the Official Gazette, namely:
1. Member appointed under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 14-
Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi daughter of Syed Gh. Nabi Andrabi resident of H.No51, Qadeem masjid
lane, Lal Bazaar, Srinagar, at present T-13 Tulsi Bagh, Srinagar.
2. Member appointed under clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 14-
Mr. Syed Mohd Hussain son of Syed Ghulam Ahmed resident of Chirarpora Parharpora, Armed
Police Peerbagh, behind Police Head Quarter, Srinagar.
3. Members appointed under clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 14-
(i) Dr. Ghulam Nabi Haleem son of Haji Mr. Mohmad Subhan resident of Surenhall- Batpora,
Tehsil and District Budgam.
(ii) Mr. Sohail Kazmi son of Maqbool Kazmi resident of Poonch, at present 4, Satellite Enclave,
Sunjwan Road, Jammu.
4. Member appointed under clause (e) of sub-section (1) of section 14-
