G.O.Ms.No.137, Home (Pol.E) Department, dt: 01.06.1998. 2. From the D.G.P., Lr.Rc.No.909/TRG.1/2009, dt: 06.04.2011 and 16.05.2011. ORDER: The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad in the letter 2nd read above, has observed that the officers of the Police Department are required to understand and be exposed to the working of the Central Para Military Forces also as these forces are often deployed by the State to assist in the maintenance of Law& order. 2. The Government, after careful examination of the matter have decided to amend the Special Rules for the Andhra Pradesh Police(Civil Police) Service Rules, 1998 issued in G.O.Ms.No.137, Home (Pol.E) Department, dt: the 1st June, 1998. 3. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dt: 12-02-2012. NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Andhra Pradesh Police(Civil Police) Service Rules, 1998 issued in G.O.Ms.No.137, Home (Pol.E) Department, dt: 01.06.1998 as subsequently amended from time to time.
