Read the following: 1. Reprn. from the Lease Proprietor, M/s Rukumini, Sridevi and Padma A/C deluxe Theatres Kakinada, East Godavari District. 2. From the Joint Collector, East Godavari, Kakinada, Lr.No.C2/M/960/2011, dated 06-01-2012. *** ORDER: In the reference first read above, the Management of M/s Rukumini, Sridevi & Padma Theatres has represented to the Government for conversion of (3) Theatres as “Devi Multiplex Theatre” and to permit to enhance the rate of admission by allowing (5) shows per day in the said Multiplex at Kakinada, East Godavari District. 2. In the reference second read above, the Joint Collector, East Godavari, Kakinada, who has submitted his report and informed that the Theatre Management has stated that the Management of M/s Rukumini, Sridevi & Padma Theatres at Kakinada, East Godavari District, have provided hygiene variety of food and beverage, entertainments, shops, games etc for the public convenience, fulfilling all the norms as prescribed by the Government with the area of 4141 Square meters with parking space consisting of above 60% as prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.486, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (M1) Department, dated.07-07-2007, and requested to accord permission to collect admission rates of Rs.200/- and Rs.150/- in respect of VVIP Circle and VIP circle, and for permission of screening ( 5) five shows per day. Further, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kakinada, who enquired into the proposal have submitted his report recommending for conversion of the said (3) theatres M/s Rukimini, Sridevi & Padma Theatres into “Devi Multiplex” and to permit to screen (5) shows in all three theatres per day from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 A.M (Mid night), as requested by the applicant and also recommended enhanced rates of admission in the said (3) Theatres M/s Rukumini, Sridevi and Padma proposed for conversion as Multiplex. Based on the report of the Joint Collector & Licensing Authority, Kakinada, and also keeping in view of the reports of the other Inspecting Officers, i.e., the Executive Engineer (R&B), the Superintendent of Police, Kakinada the three theatres M/s Rukumini, Sridevi & Padma are hereby converted into “Devi Multiplex”, at Vallabhai Street, Municipal Corporation, Kakinada, East Godavari District. 4. Government, after careful examination of the request of the management and also keeping in view of the recommendation of the Joint Collector, East Godavari, Kakinada, in exercise of the powers conferred in rule ( C ) of sub-rule 3 Rule 11(B) of Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Rules,1970, hereby permit for enhancement of rates of admission in the said (3) Theatres M/s Rukumini, Sridevi and Padma, of “Devi Multiplex” as under :- Name of Class No.of Existing Enhanced the Theatre Seats Rates Rates (Rs.)
