No.28642/Ser.I/A1/2011-3, dated 21.11.2011 5.From the Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad Lr. Rc.No.1035/G3/2011, dated 28.1.2012 o0o ORDER:- In the G.O. 2nd read above, Government approved the panel of the following (3) Commandants, APSP Bns., fit for adhoc promotion as Deputy Inspector General of Police (NC), for the panel year 2011-2012, subject to directions, outcome of the O.As/W.Ps/W.As/R.Ps/C.As., etc. pending, if any, before the Tribunal/Courts etc., 1. Sri T.Venkata Rao 2. Sri Sunil Kumar Naik 3. Sri V.Ashok Kumar. 2. In the G.O. 3rd read above, promotional and posting orders were already issued in respect of Sri T.Venkata Rao, whose name was included in the panel, as DIG (NC), APSP. 3. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, in his letter 5th read above, has reported that Government have issued a charge memo., to Sri Sunil Kumar Naik, Commandant vide Memo.No.33934/Ser.I/A2/2011-1, dated 16.12.2011, after including his name in the panel. He has requested that the promotional posting of Sri Sunil Kumar Naik, may be kept in abeyance as per G.O. Ms.No.104, G.A. (Ser.C) Department, dated 16.2.1990. As per the Police Establishment Board recommendations held on 23.1.2012, the Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, has submitted proposals for promotion and posting of Sri V.Ashok Kumar, Commandant, 15th Bn., APSP, Sathupally, as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Non- Cadre)-III, APSP, Kurnool in the existing vacancy. 4. Accordingly, the Government hereby defer the promotion of Sri Sunil Kumar Naik, Commandant, APSP Bns., as DIG (NC), APSP Bns., in terms of G.O. Ms.No.104, General Administration (Ser-C) Department, dated 16.2.1990, until termination of disciplinary proceedings. 5. In terms of Rule-10 (a) of A.P. State & Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, Government hereby promote Sri Sri V.Ashok Kumar, Commandant, APSP Battalions, included in the panel as Deputy Inspector General of Police (NC), APSP Bns., with immediate effects, subject to condition that the commencement of probation in the promoted post will be only after completion of minimum service in the feeder category, as mentioned in the G.O. 1st read above. 6. The promotion ordered in para (5) above is purely temporary and is liable to be reverted to the lower post at any time without assigning any reason therefore and is subject to outcome of O.As/W.Ps/W.As/R.Ps/C.As., pending, if any, before the Tribunal and Courts. 7. On promotion, Sri V.Ashok Kumar, is posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (NC)-III, APSP Bns., Kurnool in the existing vacancy.8. The Officer promoted in para-5 above shall join in the promotion post within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the orders of promotion. If, he fails to join the new post within the said time limit or evade to join the post by proceeding on leave, he shall forfeit his right of appointment both for the present and in future for his promotion post. 9. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, is requested to take further follow up action in the matter.
