HOME (SERVICES-I) DEPARTMENT G.O.Ms.No. 41 Dated: 29-02-2012 Read the following:- 1. G.O.Ms.No.71, Home (Ser.I) Department, dated 4.4.2006. 2. From the Hon’ble APAT orders dated 31.12.2009 in O.A.No.4136 of 2006 filed by Sri A.Ramachandraiah, formerly Inspector Communications (now retired). 3. From the Hon’ble APAT orders dated 15.12.2011 in C.A.No.239/2011 in O.A.No.4136 of 2006. o-o-o ORDER: In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have imposed the penalty of “stoppage of two increments with cumulative effect” on Sri A.Ramachandraiah, formerly Inspector Communications (now retired), for the delinquency of ‘missing of police wireless communication code book and State key of P.W.C.C. at Police Radio Station, Warangal’. 2. Aggrieved by the above, Sri A.Ramachandraiah, Retired Inspector Communications has filed O.A.No.4136/2006 before Hon’ble A.P.A.T., Hyderabad. The Hon’ble Tribunal in its order dated 31.12.2009 allowed the O.A. and set-aside the orders issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.71, Home (Ser.I) Department, dated 4.4.2006, wherein a penalty of ‘stoppage of two increments with cumulative effect’ and exonerated the Individual from the above said charge. The Hon’ble Tribunal has further directed to consider his case for promotion to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police, if he is eligible, qualified and within the zone of consideration as per merit and seniority. 3. After careful examination of the matter, Government have decided to comply with the orders of Hon’ble Tribunal. Accordingly, Government hereby rescind the orders issued in the G.O. 1st read above, awarding the penalty of ‘stoppage of two increments with cumulative effect’ on Sri A.Ramachandraiah, formerly Inspector Communications (now retired). 4. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, shall take necessary follow up action with regard to issue of notional promotion as Deputy Superintendent of Police to Sri A.Ramachandraiah, formerly Inspector Communications (now retired), if he is eligible, qualified and within the zone of consideration as per merit, as the Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad is the appointing authority upto the cadre of Deputy Superintendent of Police.
