From the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, Lr No. L&O/01 (E3)/1312/2010, dated 04-11-2010 and 19-03-2011. 2. From the DGP., AP., Hyderabad, Rc No. 1151/Min.Estt-3/2010, dated 11-04-2011. *** ORDER: The Director General of Police, AP., Hyderabad, in his letter 2nd read above, has reported that Sri G. Somappa, PC 6208, Hyderabad City Police, expired on 16-08-2010, due to accidental misfire from AK 56 rifle in CAR Hqrs, Hyderabad. He was unmarried and survived by old aged parents, two married sisters and dependent elder brother and they are native of Kurnool District. The father of the deceased Sri Ramudu requested for appointment to his elder son Sri G. Soma Gopal, on compassionate grounds, in Kurnool District. Sri G. Soma Gopal, is aged 28 years and studied 5th standard. The District Collector, Kurnool District, has returned the case since the elder brother of the late PC is not eligible for compassionate appointment as per rules in G.O. Ms. No. 612, GA (Ser. A) Department, dated 30-10- 1991. 2. In the reference 1st read above, the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, has stated that that applicant belongs to poor family and not having any source of income. He has, therefore, requested for relaxation of rules in favour of Sri G. Soma Gopal, for his compassionate appointment, since it is a genuine and deserving case. In the reference 2nd read above, the Director General of Police, AP., Hyderabad, has stated that as per financial status certificate there is no earning member in the family deceased PC. He has, therefore, requested for relaxation of rules in favour of Sri G. Soma Gopal, elder brother of late G. Somappa, PC 6208, Hyderabad City, for his compassionate appointment, on humanitarian grounds. 3. Government, after careful examination of the matter and keeping in view the facts of the case, have decided to provide compassionate appointment to Sri G. Soma Gopal, elder brother of late G. Somappa, PC 6208, Hyderabad City Police, in relaxation of relevant rules. (PTO):: 3 :: 4. Accordingly, Government hereby order to provide compassionate appointment to Sri G. Soma Gopal, elder brother of late G. Somappa, PC 6208, Hyderabad City Police, duly relaxing rules in para 2 (i) of G.O. Ms. No. 612, GA (Ser. A) Department, dated 30-10-1991, in his favour, subject to fulfillment of other conditions specified under the scheme of compassionate appointment and following the rule of reservation and Presidential Order. 5. The Director General of Police, AP., Hyderabad, shall take further action in the matter accordingly.
