From the Secretary, APPSC, Hyderabad,Lr.No.67/RT-I/3/2012, dated:19-1-2012 ***** ORDER: st The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, in his letter 1 read above, has reported that Sri N.C.Krishna Rao PC 2768, Hyderabad (now retired) and Sri Mirza Munawar Ali Baig PC 8253 of Hyderabad were handed up an OE for the following charge: “ For exhibiting gross irresponsible behavior of duty by creating nuisance on the road in inebriated condition and thereby involved in a case in 4861/2007 & 4862/2007 U/s 70 (A) CP Act of Saidabad PS”” 2. The Inspector of Police, Mahankali PS, Hyderabad, has conducted the oral Enquiry and held the charges against the charged officers as proved. A copy of the enquiry report was supplied to the charged officers, but they did not submit their explanations. Agreeing with the enquiry report, the CP, Hyderabad, has imposed the penalty of PPI for one year with effect on Sri Mirza Munawar Ali Baig PC 8253 of Hyderabad. Since the delinquent Sri N.C.Krishna Rao, PC 2768, Hyderabad has retired from service on superannuation on 30-4-2009, the DGP has referred the case to Government to dispose the case under Rule 9 of AP Revised Pension Rules, 1980. 3. Government have examined the report of the Enquiry Officer and accepted the findings of Enquiry Officer. Government have, therefore, provisionally decided to withhold 10% (ten percent) of pension of the charged officer for a period of three years, under Rule 9 of A.P. Revised Pension Rules, 1980, for the charges held proved against him. Accordingly, a show cause notice was issued to the charged officer vide reference 2nd cited and he has submitted his explanation vide reference 3rd cited. 4. Government have examined the same and decided to confirm the provisional decision of withholding of ten percent pension of the charged officer for a period of three years and the matter was referred to the A.P. Public Service Commission for its advice. The A.P. Public Service Commission, in the reference 5th read above (copy enclosed), has agreed with the proposal of the Government. 4. Therefore, Government hereby order to withhold 10 % (ten percent) pension of Sri N.C.Krishna Rao PC 2768, Hyderabad for a period of three years. 5. The DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, is requested to take follow up action in the matter accordingly.
