From the Secretary, APPSC, Hyderabad,Lr.No.73/RT-I/2/2012, dated:23-1-2012 ***** ORDER: st The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, in his letter 1 read above, has reported that Sri V.Subba Rayudu, ASI (now retired) of West Godavari District was handed upon OE for the following charge : “ For not obtaining permission from SP, West Godavari District, Eluru to acquire 1) House site in sixth ward, Bheemavaram town on 19-12-1996 and raising a terrace building in that site and 2 ) a double stored building at Manthenevarithota, Bheemavaram on 15-3-2007 in contravention of rule 3 & 9 of APCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964” 2. The SDPO, Rajahmundry, has conducted the oral Enquiry and held the charge against the charged officer as proved. The DIG, Eluru Range, has supplied a copy of the enquiry report to the charged officers and he has submitted his written statement of defence. Since, the charged officer has retired from service on superannuation 30-6-2010, further action has to be taken by the Government under Rule 9 of A.P. Revised Pension Rules, 1980. 3. Government have examined the report of the Enquiry Officer and accepted the findings of Enquiry Officer. Government have, therefore, provisionally decided to withhold 10% (ten percent) of pension of the charged officer for a period of two years, under Rule 9 of A.P. Revised Pension Rules, 1980, for the charges held proved against him. Accordingly, a show cause notice was issued to the charged officer vide reference 2nd cited and he has submitted his explanation vide reference 3rd cited. 4. Government have examined the same and decided to confirm the provisional decision of withholding of ten percent pension of the charged officer for a period of two years and the matter was referred to the A.P. Public Service Commission for its advice. The A.P. Public Service Commission, in the reference 5th read above (copy enclosed), has agreed with the proposal of the Government. 4. Therefore, Government hereby order to withhold 10 % (ten percent) pension of Sri V.Subba Rayudu, ASI (now retired) of West Godavari District for a period of two years. 5. The DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, is requested to take follow up action in the matter accordingly.
