O R D E R: In the references 9th & 11th read above, the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh Hyderabad, has requested the Government to accord Administrative sanction for unspent amount and release an amount of Rs.33,08,50,614/- towards procurement of Arms & Ammunition, Motor Vehicles, Machinery & Equipment for implementation of Modernization of Police Forces 2009-10 and 2010-11. The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has also requested to permit the ADGP, Greyhounds to draw the amount on AC bill for opening LOC with State Bank of India/ State Bank of Hyderabad to procure the imported Arms and payment to MHA for procurement of Weapons, to permit the IGP, Police Transport Organization to purchase the vehicles as per the approved Action Plan on D.C bills against 100% proforma invoices and also in relaxation of general ban orders on purchase of vehicles and to permit the Director, FSL to draw the amount of Rs. 3,15,00,000/- on AC bill and also to open LOC on State Bank of Hyderabad, Gunfoundry Branch for importing the FSL equipment as permitted in Memo No. 36146/Pol.Bud/A2/2010, dated 14-3-2011. 2. After careful examination of proposal, and based on the BRO issued in the reference 10th read above, and also approval of SLEC held on 25.01.2012, Government hereby accord administrative sanction to the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, for unspent amount of Rs.33,08,52,000/- (Rupees Thirty Three Crores Eight Lakhs and Fifty Two thousand only) under PLAN B.E 2011-12 towards procurement of Arms & Ammunition, Motor Vehicles, Machinery & Equipment as indicated at Annexure, for implementation of Modernization of Police Forces 2009- 10 and 2010-11 also permitted the ADGP, Greyhounds to draw the amount on AC bill for procure the imported arms by opening LOC with State Bank of India/ State Bank of Hyderabad for importing of the weapons, permitted the IGP, Police TransportOrganization to purchase the vehicles as per the approved Action Plan on D.C bills against 100% proforma invoices, and also in relaxation of general ban orders on purchase of vehicles and also permitted the Director, FSL to draw the amount of Rs.3,15,00,000/- on AC bill and also permitted to open LOC on State Bank of Hyderabad, Gunfoundry Branch for importing the FSL equipment as permitted in Memo No. 36146/Pol.Bud/A2/2010, dated 14-3-2011 as per the approved Action Plan duly following the Financial Rules. 3.
