From the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad Lr.Rc.No.B1/SLEC/2011-12 (3), dated 15.02.2012. @@@ O R D E R: In the references 7th & 9th read above, the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh Hyderabad, has requested the Government to accord Administrative sanction for unspent amount and release an amount of Rs.38,32,59,000/- towards procurement of Vehicles, Machinery & Equipment and Construction for implementation of Modernization of Police Forces (MSS) 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10. The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has also requested to permit the IGP, Police Transport Organization to purchase the vehicles as per the approved Action Plan on D.C bills against 100% proforma invoices and also in relaxation of general ban orders on purchase of vehicles and to permit the Director, FSL to draw the amount of Rs. 1,25,00,000/- on AC bill and also to open LOC on State Bank of Hyderabad, Gunfoundry Branch for importing the FSL equipment as permitted in Memo No. 36146/Pol.Bud/A2/2010, dated 14-3-2011. 2. After careful examination of proposal, and based on the BRO issued in the reference 8th read above, and also approval of SLEC held on 25.01.2012, Government hereby accord administrative sanction to the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, for amount of Rs.38,32,59,000/- (Rupees Thirty Eight Crores Thirty Two Lakhs and Fifty Eight thousand only) as additional funds in relaxation of Treasury Control and Quarterly Regulation Orders under PLAN B.E 2011-12 towards procurement of Vehicles, Machinery & Equipment and Construction of police stations and buildings as indicated at Annexure, for implementation of Modernization of Police Forces (MSS) 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10, also permitted the IGP, Police Transport Organization to purchase the vehicles as per the approved Action Plan on D.C bills against 100% proforma invoices, and also in relaxation of general ban orders on purchase of vehicles and also permitted the Director, FSL to draw the amount of Rs.1,25,00,000/- on AC bill and also permitted to open LOC on State Bank of Hyderabad, Gunfoundry Branch for importing the FSL equipment as permitted in Memo No. 36146/Pol.Bud/A2/2010, dated 14-3-2011 as per the approved Action Plan duly following the Financial Rules.
