ORDER:
In the reference 3rd read above, the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh,
Hyderabad, has informed that Sri G. Bandaiah, PC 2411, Cyberabad was given a charge for the
following delinquency:
“For his un-authorized absence from duty from 24-4-2004 to 15-5-2004 and completed
the period of absence and also for his habitual absence”
2. The CP, Cyberabad, after following the procedure prescribed in the APCS (CC&A)
Rules, 1991, has held the charge as proved and imposed the penalty of PPI for two years with
effect on the charged officer by treating the absence period from 24-4-2004 to 15-5-2004 and
suspension period from 18-5-2004 to till he reports to duty as not on duty and period from 16-5-
2004 to 17-5-2004 as leave eligible in Procgs. Rc.No. 23/A5/PR/Cyb/2004, dated: 20-8-2005
(D.O.No. 1336/2005). The appeal petition of the charged officer was considered and rejected by
the appellate authority, as timed barred, in proceedings dated: 20-1-2011.
3. Aggrieved by the above, the individual has submitted revision petition to the
Government requesting to set aside the penalty of PPI for two years with effect.
4. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby reject the request of Sri
G. Bandaiah, PC 2411, Cyberabad, to set aside the penalty of PPI for two years with effect.
5. The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, is requested to take
necessary action accordingly in the matter. The records received in the reference 3rd read above
are returned herewith, the receipt of which should be acknowledged.
