years with effect –Rejected - Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
In the reference 3rd read above, the DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has informed that
Sri K. Ravi, PC.1827 of 6th Bn., APSP,, was dealt with on a P.Roll involving an O.E. for the
following delinquency:
“PC 1827 Ravi who was attached to HQ coy for duties became absent for duties with
effect from 10-11-2004 FN and later on he was taken to duty w.e.f 4-1-2005. He was
declared as deserter”
2. The charged officer failed to submit his explanation to the findings of the OE as proved
even though he was reminded. The Commandant, 6th BN., APSP, duly following the procedure
prescribed under APCS (CC&A) Rules, held the charge as proved and imposed the punishment
of Postponement of Increment for two years with effect on future increments and pension,
against the above individual treating the absence period as ‘Not on Duty’” vide proceedings
C.No.9/Major PR/2005, dated: 4-7-2005. The appeal petition of the charged officer was
considered and rejected by the Appellate authority vide proceedings dated: 20-7-2009. The
revision petition of the charged officer was considered and rejected by the revisional authority in
proceedings dated: 23-12-09.
3. Aggrieved by the above, the individual has submitted a petition to the Government
requesting to set aside the penalty of PPI for two years with effect on future increments and
pension.
4. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby reject the request of Sri K.
Ravi, PC.1827 of 6th Bn., APSP, to set aside the penalty of PPI for two years with effect on
future increments and pension.
5. The DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, is requested to take necessary action accordingly
in the matter. The records received in the reference 3rd read above are returned herewith, the
receipt of which should be acknowledged.
