HOME (SER-II) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 374 dated:9-3-2012 Read the following: 1. From Sri O. Siva Nageswara Rao, PC 1565, DAR West Godavari District petition dated Nil received on 9-6-2011 2. Govt.Memo.No.17077/Ser-II/A2/2011, dated: 29.6.11. 3. From the DGP, AP, Hyderabad, Lr.Rc.No.2099/Appeal-3/ 2011, dated: 23-11-2011 . ****** ORDER: In the reference 3rd read above, the DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has informed that Sri O. Siva Nageswara Rao, PC 1565, DAR West Godavari District was given a charge under Rule-20 of APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991 for the following delinquency: “Reprehensible behaviour and dereliction of duty in absenting himself from Sub- Treasury office guard at Bhimadole on 2.4.1995 un-authorizedly without any leave or permission and violated sub rule (1) (2) of Rule 3 of APCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964.” 2. The ASP, West Godavari District Eluru, has conducted the OE and held the charge as proved and submitted his minutes. The Disciplinary authority i.e the SP, West Godavari District, after following the procedure prescribed in the APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991 has awarded the punishment of PPI for two years with effect on future increments and pension on the aforesaid charged officer treating the suspension period from 6.4.1995 to 12.4.1995 as not on duty in proceedings C.No.238/PR/1995 dated: 29.1.1998.The appeal petition of the charged officer was considered and rejected by the appellate authority in proceedings dated: 15.6.1998. The revision petition of the charged officer was also considered and rejected by the revisional authority in his proceedings dated: 16.9.2000. 3. Aggrieved by the above, the individual has submitted a petition to the Government requesting to set aside the penalty of PPI for two years with effect on future increments and pension. 4. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby reject the request of Sri O. Siva Nageswara Rao, PC 1565, DAR West Godavari District, to set aside the penalty of PPI for two years with effect on future increments and pension. 5. The DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, is requested to take necessary action accordingly in the matter. The records received in the reference 3rd read above are returned herewith, the receipt of which should be acknowledged.
