HOME (SER-II) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 490 dated:27-3-2012 Read the following: From the DGP, AP, Hyderabad, Lr.Rc.No.284/ Appeal-1/ 2012, dated:14-2-2012 along with the revision petition of Sri A. Sreedhar Kumar, SI , Nizamabad District dated:23-1-2012 ****** ORDER: In the reference read above, the Director General of Police, AP, Hyderabad, has informed that Sri A. Sreedhar Kumar, SI of Police, Nizamabad District, was dealt with on a PR Roll for the following delinquency: “Exhibited gross high handedness towards a MPTC and procedural lapses in failure to register a case and slapped the MPTC and put up in the lock up on 18-9-2010” 2. The Disciplinary authority i.e DIG of Police, Nizamabad Range, Nizamabad, has held that charge against the charged officer as proved and awarded the penalty of ‘Censure’, on the aforesaid charged officer, in proceedings DO.No.A3/01/MPR/NR-NZB/2011, RO.No.70/2011, dated: 30-3-2011.The appeal petition of the charged officer was considered and rejected by the appellate authority i.e IG, West Zone, Hyderabad, in his proceedings dated: 18.1.2012. 3. Aggrieved by the above orders, the individual has submitted a revision petition to the Government, requesting to set aside the penalty of censure. 4. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby set aside the punishment of “censure” imposed on Sri A. Sreedhar Kumar, SI of Police, Nizamabad District. 5. The Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, is requested to take necessary action accordingly in the matter.
