GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT PS – Police Department – Revision petition of Sri A.Obulesu, Inspector of Police, CID, RCIU, Kurnool, against the punishment of ‘PPI for one year without effect on future increments and pension’– Allowed – Orders – Issued. HOME (SERVICE-I) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt.No. 561 Dated: 03/04/2012 Read the following:- 1. From Sri A.Obulesu, Inspector of Police, CID, RCIU, Kurnool, revision petition dated 18.11.2011. 2. From the Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, Letter Rc.No.4546/Appeal-4/2011, dated 4.2.2012. o-o-o ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, Sri A.Obulesu, Inspector of Police, CID, RCIU, Kurnool, has submitted a revision petition to the Government, requesting to set aside the punishment of ‘PPI for one year without effect on future increments and pension’ awarded by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kurnool Range, for the reasons mentioned therein. 2. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, in his letter 2nd read above, has informed that Sri A.Obulesu, Inspector of Police, formerly of Zone-IV of Kurnool and Anantapur Ranges, now working CID, RCIU, Kurnool on deputation, was awarded the punishment of ‘PPI for one year without effect on future increments and pension’ by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kurnool Range, Kurnool, vide Proceedings No.C2/MPR/26/2010 (ROO No.515/2010), dated 22.10.2010, for the following delinquency:- “You have exhibited gross neglect of your legitimate duty in showing negligent attitude and insufficient performance in Intelligence Department causing damage of the image of Police Officers of Zone-IV.” His appeal petition was considered and rejected by the appellate authority i.e. Inspector General of Police (L&O), Rayalaseema Region, Hyderabad, in Proceedings D.Dis.No.362/L&O/RR-II/2010, dated 16.5.2011. Now, the Individual has submitted a revision petition to the Government. 3. After careful examination of the entire matter, with reference to the records made available, by taking the revision petition into consideration, Government hereby set aside the above said punishment of ‘PPI for one year without effect on future increments and pension’ imposed on Sri A.Obulesu, Inspector of Police, CID, RCIU, Kurnool. 4. The Director General of Police, A.P., Hyderabad, is requested to take necessary follow up action in the matter. The records received in the reference 2nd read above are herewith returned and the receipt of the same should be acknowledged.
